With VMI Remote support, our experts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to support you and make sure you are up and running again as soon as possible. From our regional support centers, we are able to support you in your time zone, making sure standstill will be reduced to an absolute minimum and that your machines continue to operate according to your requirements.
Our remote support engineers have all the knowledge needed to quickly and efficiently ascertain the situation and come up with the appropriate solution. VMI uses state-of-the-art remote diagnostics by means of a direct connection between the VMI machine installed at your site and one of VMI’s service centers. To enable this connection, an E Won internet module is required that is connected to the PLC or Ethernet hub located in the machine main cabinet. The only hardware requirement is an internet provision to the main electrical cabinet.
At VMI’s service center, all required hardware and software are installed to establish a direct contact with the PLC in your machine, but VMI’s service center can only connect to the machine if you allow access to it. Our software technicians can follow every program step in the machine’s PLC, to localize possible disturbances and give you an advice to solve the issue. If needed, VMI can change the software program remotely. All remote support actions will be executed in close cooperation with your team.
