Testing machines becoming increasingly important

Testing machines are becoming increasingly important in the tire industry. Today the development period for new vehicles is less than two years. The number of sports cars and cross-country vehicles with four-wheel drive is growing and these require tires with superior on-road performance as well as off-road properties.

Light weight trucks and transport vans are being driven at higher speeds and require tires suitable for these changing conditions. The retreading industry’s share of the truck tire market is also increasing.

Force and moment tire testing machines

The force and moment tester meets all requirements for tire characteristics, such as dynamic altering of the slip angle, camber angle adjustment and hub drive. All moments and forces are measured, making this equipment suitable for testing tires, as well as for use in their development. A six-component measuring hub records all moments and forces in detail. The user friendly, menu operated, control system is fully digital and operated by a real time test controller. The industrial PC in the control cabinet stores the data and has numerous test control functions and the possibility to load externally edited software programs. This sophisticated measuring system is ideal for the development of high-performance tires.

The modular machine setup can be configured for passenger, or for truck tires and in a one or two independent test station version. For passenger configuration speed will go up to 320 km/h, and our high speed version even to 420 Km/h. Truck tires will be tested with a maximum speed of 220 km/h at a maximum load of 100 kN.

Tread wear tire testing machines

Specifically designed for Tire Tread Wear simulations of passenger tires. As tests can be performed in a laboratory environment tire tread wear can be determined faster and with a better repeatability than with conventional road tests.
Wheel load, acceleration and declaration as well as tire movements can be simulated to reproduce the forces and moments a tire experiences on the road.

Final finishing is the most important part in the chain of the tire production. The X-ray control of the tire structure, measurements and grinding at the tire surface guarantee the excellence of your product.

PCR X-ray machine

The final control with an X-ray system finds and presents possible defects within your tire. This system has been developed for the highest productivity and security and for mixed-feed operation mode with all tire sizes of passenger, light truck, truck/bus and super single tires.
