VMI's comprehensive selection of all steel truck and bus tire assembly machinery is designed and manufactured incorporating the very latest innovative technology to offer an impressive, flexible and reliable production performance. It produces a wide range of products from standard truck and bus tires up to the more sophisticated super single truck tires which can all be manufactured on our assembly systems in the standard tire bead configuration from 17.5 up to 24.5 inches.
The VAST Compact range features include:
- Assembly machine with minimal floor space.
- Non bladder mechanical drums for shaping plus carcass, breaker and tread package building dual bead size shaping drum with a concentric and mechanical bead lock system and inside support of apex/bead zone during turn-up.
- Modular and transparently structured control incorporating user friendly HMI at each building station.
- Minimum tire size and code change time in software (tire menu in HMI) plus controlled tire size change (within the same bead diameter).
- An ergonomically designed green tire removal system that can be tailor made to individual needs and modular design for customization to ensure exact tire design requirements at a minimal additional cost.
All steel truck radial tire assembly machine, model VAST-3SA
The VAST-3SA is a three drum semi-automatic assembly machine, specifically designed to benefit from low labor costs. The level of automation is reduced selectively and does not compromise the potential to build high quality tires whilst making optimal use of low cost labor. The VAST-SA can be upgraded to a four drum operation for increased productivity and/or a more automatic system therefore providing flexibility and growth potential for the future.

All steel truck radial tire assembly machine, model VAST 3
The VAST-3 is a three drum automatic assembly machine with higher automation levels than the SA version. The increased automated process delivers ongoing, consistent manufacturing quality and with a lower initial investment level compared to a four drum automatic configuration. The system can easily be upgraded to a four drum version by installing a second shaping drum and drive unit which is available as a standard retrofit.

All steel truck radial assembly machine, model VAST-4 (compact)
The VAST-4 (compact) is a highly automated four drum assembly machine which is designed to take up minimal floor space. The Vast-4 compact is equipped with a special shaping drum rotation unit which gives a reduced machine layout of approximately 30% with impressive accessibility, functionality and performance.
