VMI appointed Dirk Reurslag as Vice President Sales & Projects

Effective August 16th, 2010 Dirk Reurslag has been appointed as the new Vice President Sales & Projects of VMI. He succeeds Harm Voortman, who has recently been appointed as CEO of the VMI Group.

Dirk Reurslag is already active in the company's Sales & Projects department since 1994. His recent task was to manage the global tire and rubber equipment makers' sales in Europe, Russia and Middle East. 

The VMI sales organization is now also streamlined to better cope with the company's different product-market combinations and with the growing importance of the Asian market. VMI is determined to pick up again the post-2009 trend of growth in business volume and to maintain it's technological leadership in solutions for the tire production. The VMI Group has sales offices in the Netherlands, Russia, USA, Brazil, China and Malaysia. Production is now concentrated in the Netherlands, China and Brazil.
