Acquired in 2004

Before AZ’s machinery division, comprised of extruders for the new tire, technical goods and retreading market, was acquired by VMI in 2004, AZ already had a sales and service office in Ohio. This way they were able to offer timely support to their customers in the North American, Mexican, Central and South American markets.

The set up AZ’s operations in the US was very similar to the way VMI Americas operated. It therefore made sense to join forces and newly founded VMI-AZ Extrusion US sales division moved into VMI Americas’ premises at the end of 2004.

Now service and spare part sales are fully integrated, whereas the sales staff works closely and effectively together and will always make sure your needs are addressed properly by the right experts, whether you need tire building solutions, retreading solutions or rubber extrusion and performer solutions.

VMI Americas combines everything the VMI Group has to offer.
