In 2004 VMI–AZ Extrusion GmbH has become part of the VMI Group. VMI-AZ is located in the Southern part of Germany where they develop and manufacture their products which are sold worldwide. Previously the company was a division of A-Z Formen- und Maschinenbau GmbH. VMI–AZ Extrusion is supplying high-tech extruders, gear pumps and retreading extrusion systems, which are used in new tire manufacturing, for retreading and in the technical rubber industry. Hence the VMI Group is now able to offer an even wider range of products to meet its customers’ needs. VMI Holland BV is using VMI-AZ’s highly efficient extruder gear pump technology also in VMI products such as for bead-apexing and steelcord belt production systems.

The core strength of VMI–AZ Extrusion GmbH is to bring very innovative and flexible extrusion systems to the market to let our customers benefit from the latest developments in extrusion technology.

VMI-AZ’s range of products includes:

• CTC extrusion systems for retreading
• Planetary gear pump extruder systems (PLANETRUDER)
• Extruder gear pump combinations (SHARK or COMBEX)
• Mono, duplex, and triplex extrusion systems à capacity from 60 to 7800 kg/h
• Extrusion heads for a wide range of applications.
