VMI-AZ Extrusion

Since becoming part of the VMI Group in 2004, VMI-AZ Extrusion has played an important role in the growth of VMI's product portfolio. Located in South Germany, the company was formerly a division of AZ-Formen-und Maschinenbau GmbH and supplies high tech extruders, gear pumps and retreading extrusion systems for new tire manufacturing, retreading and in the technical rubber industry.

VMI-AZ's highly efficient extruder gear pump technology is also being implemented in other VMI products such as bead-apexing and steelcord belt production systems. The main contribution of VMI-AZ Extrusion to the group is to provide very innovative and flexible extrusion systems for the market thus ensuring customers benefit from the latest technology developments in extrusion.

VMI-AZ’s product range includes:

• CTC extrusion systems for retreading
• Planetary gear pump extruder systems (PLANETRUDER)
• SHARK and COMBEX xtruder gear pump combinations
• Mono, duplex, and triplex extrusion systems (60-7800 kg/h capacity) 
• Extrusion heads for a wide range of applications
