First plant outside The Netherlands

To serve its American customers, VMI founded in 1983 VMI Americas, Inc., its first plant outside the Netherlands with both manufacturing and service capabilities.
Being an integral part of the VMI Group, VMI Americas is committed to creating state-of-the-art process solutions for the tire and rubber industries that not only meet the needs of our customers, but also provide compelling returns-on-investment.

Good Location

Our facility in Stow, Ohio USA is conveniently located near several major Interstate routes, and just a short drive from the Cleveland and Akron/Canton airports. As in The Netherlands, Germany and China, VMI Americas employs highly motivated and experienced engineers, who are committed to provide ideas and solutions to help improve your bottom line. In addition, VMI Americas stocks critical spare parts to be dispatched overnight anywhere in the world.

In 2004 the US sales office of VMI–AZ Extrusion joined VMI Americas, while VMI–MTI became part of the organization in 2006. All in all, VMI Americas combines everything the VMI Group has to offer.
