MTM mini tyre factory is a game-changer
The MTM (Modular Tyre Manufacturing) machine has been developed by VMI with support from Marangoni Meccanica and in cooperation with Marangoni's car tyre production division. MTM is a mini tyre factory in a single machine. Mr. David Shaw of the leading magazine European Rubber Journal visited Marangoni and made the enclosed report which will certainly convince you of the great success of MTM.

MAXX CUTTER®, cutting edge steel cord cutting
Many of today’s steel cord cutting systems are evolved from cutters initially designed for steel plate cutting. Until recently VMI’s steel cord cutting systems were based on that same principle. The quest for a different concept driven by innovations in the production of tires has however led to a new approach that literally turns cutting as we know it “up-side-down”. Traditional guillotine cutters need a heavy steel construction to reach the stiffness required for cutting of calandered steel cord material.Read more

On November 19th, 2009 VMI Holland BV has organized in Bangkok, Thailand the seminar “Advanced Polymer Processing” for the Technical Rubber Industry in the region.
